From a Garage to a Better Way to do Business.

It was 15 years ago, while running a tiny garage-based business in New Hampshire buying and selling ultrasounds, that the idea for Lucid Equipment first developed. After working with large medical equipment manufacturers, major leasing companies and the State of Maine healthcare system for several years, it became clear there is a better way to do business. The idea was based around a simple concept—transparency. Lucid President Andy Parker saw the opportunity to better serve the market by providing honest information about medical equipment and its value. This way, hospitals would know exactly what their equipment is worth and could make more informed decisions when buying and selling—ultimately resulting in greater profits. Lucid Equipment has continued to evolve its commitment to transparency by creating the only marketplace where buying and selling medical equipment is honest, easy and fair for all parties.

Philosophy

A COMMITMENT TO TRANSPARENCY

Lucid Equipment is dedicated to providing you with a better way to buy and sell medical equipment, and helping put money back into your organization’s pocket. Our company was founded on a commitment to transparency, and we will do all we can to deliver on that promise.

Andy Parker

President

To do something for almost two decades, it takes passion—and Andy has no shortage of it. Once he realized there was a way to help hospitals and healthcare facilities recoup value on their medical equipment, he dedicated years to creating a truly transparent marketplace where purchases and sales could take place on a level playing field, and the entire process could be streamlined for all involved.

Andy entered the medical equipment market following graduation from the UCLA economics program. He went on to sell thousands of medical devices over the last 15 years.

Andy takes pride in delivering a high-value service to the organizations that depend on high-quality equipment.
